Lime is in itself already ecological. It can be found everywhere and there are no special additives necessary to obtain an effective material.
Compared to cement the consumption of energy is lower for hydraulic lime (heating temperatures of 800-1200°C for lime, and 1400-1800°C for cement).
Thanks to its physical properties it also contributes to a comfortable interior that is healthy, and greatly reduces the risk of allergies.
